You Fool Only Yourself…

Posted: August 15, 2012 in Poems
I guess, to become a joke, never taken seriously;
It’d hurt to live only facing misery?
Stop a moment, ask yourself;
Are we all the same? Or are you just blind?
Look in the right place, and surely find
All you “seek”; though I speak not of me
Open your eyes; I’m sure you’ll see
There’s good in the world, so stop the chasing
Of all that’s bad, and stop the faking.
Save yourself the pain and avoid hearts breaking.
There are those who want and truly need
Those with souls and hearts that bleed –
Stop a moment, think of them,
Are they the same as all the rest?
